Over the course of the next year (and beyond), MPN will bring together people who identify as women for free monthly gatherings blending psychoeducation and career development in a relaxed, informal setting. These Sunday events—the goal being to motivate attendees to have a positive, productive workweek—will be geared toward minority professional women. Each will feature a speaker who will give a presentation focused on a mental health-related topic, to be followed by time to network. Participants will also receive self-care kits with tools and products designed to help them manage stress and build self-esteem.

Goal: Hold one session per month for at least a year, starting in March; based on attendance (which will be capped based on local COVID-19 regulations) and interest, increase to two per month. Our hope is to host these gatherings in person, but we also have the capacity to do so virtually if need be.
